It's bound to happen sometime, but what people will bond together in a way that even governments take a knee and say: "You're right, you guys are showing us how it's done. How should we govern you?" And we'll say, "No more killing, no more imprisoning, we just want to be cool."

Which country will do it first? Some say Holland, Iceland and Bolivia are pretty close...but who will seal the deal?
I still think the People of America can do it, if we all have some sort of realization at the same time. It could be an individual, it could be an idea, it could be some great, radical law that is fair to everyone. I think law now is not specific enough, and the breathing room is used by those who would take advantage of it. I like, "Thou shalt have no other rights before US" meaning: things have to be fair for us to coexist. If you're in government, you may not hide information, you may not acquire privilege the rest of us don't have, you may not declare war in our name....ever.
